Holland coach Van Gaal maintains Tottenham move hopes

Holland coach Louis van Gaal retains hope of moving to Tottenham after the World Cup.

The Telegraph says Van Gaal has not abandoned the idea of managing Tottenham once his contract as Holland's national team boss has expired in the summer.

He is interested in managing in England and still views Tottenham as a potential opportunity.

The former Barcelona coach would happily work in tandem with current Spurs manager Tim Sherwood.

Spurs currently have no plans to move Sherwood aside or bring Van Gaal in above him, but that could be reassessed if the club fail to qualify for the Champions League or performances and results slip below chairman Daniel Levy's high expectations.
