Brighton shot stopper Bart Verbruggen has been told to prepare to play a lot more for his country.
The Albion goalkeeper is set to earn his fifth cap when he takes on Germany in a friendly on Tuesday.
Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman will start Brentford's Mark Flekken in goal against Scotland on Friday.
Koeman sad of his keepers: “We want both to play a match
"Mark and Bart are simply great builders in the first phase of the attack.
“We have it in mind who the three goalkeepers will ultimately be who will go to the European Championship when everyone is fit and has a rhythm of play."
On his ball playing ability, Verbruggen he told The Argus recently after a game against Nottingham Forest: “In the first half there were two passes, one I got away with, and one I didn't.
“I always have little bits after games where I feel 'I could have done this, I could have done that' but I think that's also the way I progress as a person.
“Even though I have played a good game, I always try to look at the things that weren't perfect.
“It's quite difficult to play 90 minutes of football at this level absolutely perfect, so there are always bits that you can improve on and do better.
“That's what excites me and gives me energy."
