Hojbjerg claims Tottenham teammate Richarlison 'crazy in a good way'

Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has praised new teammate Richarlison.

The Brazilian has already endeared himself to his teammates and the club's supporters this season.

Richarlison arrived in the summer from Everton, while he made a huge impact in his first Champions League appearance, scoring twice against Marseille in midweek.

"Richie is amazing," Hojbjerg said to SPURSPLAY.

"I don't know how to say it but I'm happy that he is playing for Spurs.

"Training with him as well or against him, fantastic boy, fantastic mindset, crazy but in a good way.

"He really deserves what comes his way but he has to stay focused and concentrated but well done to him.

"In the end [of the match against Fulham] I put a long ball down in the corner and he got a throw-in.

"I know this is small details and in the end doesn't make a small or great player but this is things where he's going to chase whatever is coming his way and you saw that again today.

"The way he goes round with the ball and his positioning, I'm gutted he didn't get the goal in the end but it doesn't take anything away from him and his performance.

"He still has a lot to learn but we are happy to have him here in Tottenham and he needs to keep improving."
