Hoffenheim attacker Ryan Babel has slammed former Liverpool football chief Damien Comolli.

Babel mocked Comolli on Twitter after learning of his dismissal last week.

He tweeted: "So Comoli got fired at LFC, good for L.F.C."

Asked if Comolli drove Babel out of Anfield, he replied: "Yes HE was."

The 25-year-old later went on to claim: "For him it [the sale of Babel] was just business."
