England boss Roy Hodgson says his side are not getting carried away after winning all four of their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign games. "We have our feet on the ground," Hodgson told the Football Association's official video channel.
"We know we can improve and the players are working hard at the moment to become as solid and unified as we can be.
"I'm pleased that we have played some good football and are showing signs of having a bright future.
"On paper we are the best team in the group and it is our duty to make sure that we qualify. Nothing I've seen so far leads me to think that it is not possible."
Hodgson added that England's displays since the summer had partially made amends for their failure in Brazil.
"Fortunately, we have managed to redress the balance somewhat since the World Cup.
"Obviously, with that not going well for us that tends to colour one's view of the year. But one would like to think all experiences should give you something extra if you use them in the right way.
"In future tournaments you hope the players will be better prepared than they were going into this one."
