Hodgson insists Man Utd's Ferdinand still has England future

England coach Roy Hodgson says Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand could be involved in the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

But Hodgson told BBC Sport on Saturday: "Ferdinand has no reason to fear for his international future.

"All the time he's playing, I'll keep watching."
