Hill hoping QPR can lift their game to avoid drop

Clint Hill says he is not too sure exactly how many points QPR will need to stay in the Premier League but knows very well the team must raise the level of their game.

The West London outfit sits 17th on the table, two points clear of the drop zone, but have a tough run home with matches against Tottenham, Chelsea, Stoke City and Manchester City.

The R's have recorded 31 points this far and Hill is aware they need a few more to ensure top flight football next season despite the difficult ensuing fixtures.

"It's difficult to say how many points we will need as it changes every week," he told the Ealing Gazette.

"Some say 37 points, some say 39, so maybe if we can get in between that then hopefully we'll be safe.

"It's going to be tough. Everyone says that some teams have got an easier run-in than others, but there's no easy games in this league. Every team will find that out.

"Hopefully with the big teams we have to play that will raise our game even more."
