Danny Higginbotham has heaped praise on Manchester United's Jose Mourinho.
Writing in his column for The Sun, Higginbotham highlighted Mourinho's tactical masterclass in United's 2-0 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday.
“Before the Chelsea game some said Manchester United's tactics were negative in how they line up, but I disagree," opined the former United, Southampton, Stoke City and Sunderland defender.
“How many teams have played two up front — in this case Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard — against Chelsea this season? Not many.
“It was a fantastic performance by United but it's what you have come to expect from Jose Mourinho.
“Questions have been asked about him and his team but he has proven once again that he is one of the best tacticians in the Premier League.
“United made Chelsea look second best — some feat considering the season Antonio Conte's side have had."
