Hibs have accepted an offer from Leicester City for defender Sol Bamba.

Bamba was left out of Hibs' derby defeat to Hearts yesterday.

Hibs manager Colin Calderwood confirmed the offer from Leicester and he believes the bid represents a good deal for the SPL side.

"We had a bid from Leicester and, subject to him agreeing terms, we've given him permission to go down there," said Calderwood.

"It's a good deal for the club."
