A return to Hertha Berlin for Liverpool midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza is unlikely.

The Brazilian youngster impressed on-loan at Hertha last season.

BILD says the Germans are open to his return, but Liverpool's demands of a loan fee has put them off. Allan's arrangement last season was a free loan.

Liverpool are also seeking playing guarantees, which Hertha has also refused.

Allan still lacks qualifications for a UK work permit, meaning he faces another 12 months abroad next season.
