Espanyol are still to tie down sports chief Paco Herrera to a new contract.

Herrera becomes a free agent at the end of this season, but insisted yesterday: "If I had to make a decision today, I would renew. I am well here and I'm not thinking about anyone else, but I believe that it is better to wait for a little, a few months."

Herrera moved to Espanyol last year from Liverpool.
