Henrikh Mkhitaryan fighting for future at Man Utd

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is again fighting for his future at Manchester United.

The Armenia captain has been missing for the past two games.

The Mirror says the 28-year-old has fallen out of favour with United almost back to full strength following the return to fitness of Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and manager Jose Mourinho putting his faith in Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in the wide positions.

Mourinho has admitted that Mkhitaryan will have to wait for his opportunity.

"I decided to play Rashford and Martial together," said the United boss before the Basle defeat.

"The question for many weeks was why don't they play together — now it's why isn't Mkhitaryan playing? The answer is very simple, until the international board change the rules I can only play 11."
