Henderson: Liverpool feeling fresh after summer of changes

Jordan Henderson says that things have freshened up at Liverpool following the influx of new faces at Anfield.

The Reds have gone through a mass overhaul this summer with the arrival of a host of new players as well as a couple of additions to the coaching staff.

As well, a new club captain has also been appointed in the form of Henderson and the England international has stated that the new arrivals have freshened up things at Liverpool.

Henderson told theLiverpool Echo: "We've obviously talked about the problems that we had last season. We are working on it in pre-season and obviously try different things but it's been freshened up as well with the new staff and some new players.

"I think that's really freshened us up and like I say everything is looking positive so far, but we've got to keep going, keep working hard and pushing ourselves to the limits then come the first game of the season we will be raring to go."

Manager Brendan Rodgers has overseen the additions of playing personnel including Christian Benteke, James Milner, Nathaniel Clyne and Roberto Firmino this summer as well as coaching staff Sean O'Driscoll and Gary McAllister and Pepijn Lijnders.
