Henderson disappointed as Liverpool fight back against West Brom

Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson cut a disappointed figure following the 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Sunday.

The Reds needed a deflected Divock Origi strike to equalise in injury time but Henderson insists that the Merseyside club deserved to win the game.

"I think we're disappointed not to have won the game," he said.

"I thought we created some good chances. We knew West Brom would sit in.

"We're frustrated but at the same time we were chasing the game and it's great to see Divock come on and get the goal.

"After the equaliser I thought we had the momentum to get another goal, I thought we'd sneak another. We kept going but it wasn't to be."

Henderson open the scoring in the 21st minute before Albion netted twice through Craig Dawson and Jonas Olsson prior to Origi's late intervention.
