Hearts derby hero not guaranteed Saturday start

18-year-old Gary Glen came off the bench to score Hearts crucial second goal in Sunday's Scottish Cup victory at Hibernian. But boss Csaba Laszlo has warned Glen he cannot expect to walk straight into the side to face Kilmarnock.

Laszlo told Hearts.TV: "Gary Glen scored a wonderful goal against Hibs on Sunday, from a great pass by (Christos) Karipidis.

"But it is not enough to just shoot one goal - it is a long process to get into the team and then become a permanent player in the first team.

"I'm not telling you who plays on Saturday - but you don't score one goal and stay in the team forever."

Laszlo is nonetheless encouraged by the start Glen has made.

"I am happy with what Gary did," he said.

"I gave him the chance to get into the team, and he scored a good goal in a good victory."
