'He won't retire': Ex-Man Utd boss Van Gaal rejects new KNVB approach

The KNVB have failed with a new attempt for sacked Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal.

After his dismissal on Monday, Van Gaal was approached by KNVB chief Johan Lokhorst about reviving plans of him taking the newly-formed technical director's job.

But Van Gaal turned down the proposal, just as he did over the New Year.

The Dutchman is currently taking a break in Portugal, but friends don't see him retiring.

Fellow coach Co Adriaanse says: "Louis is not a stamp collector. After three or four days in Portugal, he'll be at it again. Unfortunately for Hilda!"
