Real Madrid midfielder Eden Hazard is set to visit London in an effort to get beyond his injury woes.

Okdiario says Hazard was not present at the Alfredo di Stéfano stadium for Real's Champions League victory over Atalanta last night. Instead, he will travel in the coming hours to London to visit James Calder, his trusted doctor who operated on him in 2017 when he was a Chelsea player. The purpose of the visit will be to check the plate on his ankle.

From tests and the opinion of the doctor, the player will make the final decision, although at the moment his idea is to go under the knife to banish once and for all the injuries that have plagued him since joining Real.

If Hazard decides to undergo surgery, he will miss the remainder of the season with Real. But he should still have time to make the Euros with Belgium this summer.
