Eden Hazard will miss Chelsea's Europa League meeting with BATE Borisov on Thursday night.
The Belgian was on the receiving end of some rough treatment from Manchester United in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Stamford Bridge.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Blues boss Maurizio Sarri confirmed Hazard will miss Thursday's match due to a back injury.
Sarri said: "He is out for sure. He has a back problem. We are trying to sort the problem for Sunday.
"It is not very easy. The other one out is Ampadu. Jorginho also needs a rest.
"We may change players. The problem is not this match it is the one on Sunday which is 65 hours later.
"Maybe we will bring in five or six players."
