Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has branded Eden Hazard as a huge asset for the West London club.

The Belgium international has struggled for top form for the Blues this season but showed glimpses of his talent in the 4-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

The 25-year-old scored a brace in the game to open his goalscoring account in the Premier League this season after a stellar campaign last term where he won a plethora of individual awards in Chelsea's premiership-winning season.

"I watched him last year and he's been frustrated with his season and injuries, but he looked really fresh and he was excited for the game," said Begovic on the club's official website.

"He brings game-winning skills and when he shows off his skill it's a beautiful thing. He takes on players, makes situations and chances for other players and obviously puts them away himself.

"He attracts so many of the other team's defensive players, which frees up other guys to do their thing. When he's on top of his game he's a huge asset to us."
