Eden Hazard says his top form is just around the corner.
The Belgian ace produced a stunning opener for Chelsea in their eventual 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, making it four goals in his past four outings.
Hazard has endured a tough campaign because of various injuries but feels his fitness is now giving him the chance to produce top quality displays just as he did so consistently when winning a plethora of individual awards as the Blues clinched the Premier League title last season.
"Everybody's been waiting a long season for me to be at this level, but now I'm close to my best performance," Hazard said.
"I hope I can stay like this forever!"
Of his goal, which came from a dazzling run and delightful finish, Hazard added: "It's not special because we didn't win!
"It's always nice to score but it would be better not to and win the game."
The 25-year-old playmaker will finish the season with Chelsea at home against champions Leicester City on Sunday before setting his sights on Euro2016 as captain of Belgium following the injury to Manchester City's Vincent Kompany.
