Hart missing Villa No1 Given at Man City

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is delighted for ex-teammate Shay Given over his successful move to Aston Villa.

Hart understood his close friend’s decision to leave, though he still misses having him around Carrington and on the training ground.

"It goes without saying that Shay was too good to be a No 2 keeper,” said Hart to City's website. “Alex McLeish, an old manager of mine when I played at Birmingham, made a great decision in taking him to Aston Villa.

"I loved every minute of working with Shay. He was a massive part of this squad."
