Harry Arter blasts Huddersfield boss Wagner: Take a history lesson!

Harry Arter has hit back at Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner's claims that Bournemouth have bought their success.

Wagner recently claimed that Bournemouth owe their wonderful meteoric rise to the investment made by wealthy owner Maxim Demin, but Cherries midfielder Arter has blasted such claims by stating that the German manager needs a history lesson.

Arter told the Daily Echo: "The lads didn't really take any offence to it. I didn't take any offence, it was nice just to win. He doesn't know the history too well. He should probably have done a little more research.

"He probably doesn't know too much about Bournemouth and, in a way, probably doesn't know too much about Huddersfield. Going back, we lost a player to Huddersfield because they offered so much money for him."
