Owen Hargreaves admits moving from Bayern Munich to Manchester United has meant a step up in the level of training.

The talents of double Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Nani has left even hardened-pro Hargreaves watching in amazement.

"It's easy to see why the team was so successful last season," he says.

"Everything is well thought through, the sessions are very intense, no-one is standing around and the quality of everything that happens is great.

"The coaching under the manager, Carlos Queiroz and the rest of the staff has been top-class. I'm sure we are going to be extremely successful with the talent we have and the quality of the training.

"I think everyone in the club, not just the boss but people behind the scenes, too, have made the transition very smooth for me and already I can see the amount of success the club has had is not a coincidence - it's down to the amount of work done by everybody."
