Adam Hammill is determined to carve out a first team place for himself at Wolves.
The winger signed for Wolves last January from Barnsley.
The Liverpool-born flanker told the Express & Star: "On a personal basis I have got something to prove.
"I want to be a hit in the Premier League by making goals and scoring goals for Wolves to push us up the table.
"I enjoyed the time I played last season but I've learned it's not all about attacking play - it's about having a team ethic and working for the team.
"I spoke to the gaffer and he praised me for the things I did well but he said I need to become a lot more consistent.
"There are things I need to work on to cement my place in the team.
"There's a long way to go and a lot of hard work ahead, but I'm looking forward to the challenge of trying to get into the side."
