SV Hamburg midfielder Benny Feilhaber is a target for Derby County, according to the player's agent.

He featured in USA's Gold Cup-winning team this summer. Feilhaber's agent, Henner Janzen, is reported in the American press as saying: "We are very close. The basics have been agreed, and now we get into the details.

"The contract is supposed to be for three years. We hope it's going to work out. This would be good for Benny."
