Former Bayern Munich and Manchester City midfielder Didi Hamann has slammed Leroy Sane.

Knowing Bayern are interested in the City winger, Hamann says the German giants should forget Sane and focus on other players, namely Werder Bremen's Milot Rashica.

Hamann told BILD: "Getting a player (Sane) for 100 million where you don't know if he's going to behave or not - I can have (Bayer Leverkusen's Kai) Havertz, where I know, he'll do anything to be successful.

"And if you still need an outside player, I will look to Bremen.

"Rashica would certainly be a much cheaper option, and he would be more consistent."
