USA international Brad Guzan was named man-of-the-match in Aston Villa's 1-0 defeat of Sparta Prague last night. Guzan was outstanding in the UEFA Cup victory and Villa boss Martin O'Neill said: "Brad is a great keeper in the making. I'm delighted he finally got his work permit and he is following in a long line of American keepers.

"I thought he was brilliant tonight. All the things that we saw in him in America came out this evening."
