Guti was missing for yesterday's morning training session after Real Madrid's 0-0 draw at Sporting Gijon. Sport says the midfielder arrived two hours late for the workout and explained he overslept because of a wrongly set alarm clock. Real coach Manuel Pellegrini isn't expected to punish Guti for his lapse.
Meanwhile, after the draw at Sporting, Guti admitted: "We are improving, but we must ask more of this team. It is true that we are missing important players, who score goals but we must not focus on this."
