Gundogan: Man City know strengths of PSG coach Pochettino

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan says they well know the strengths of PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino ahead of tomorrow's Champions League clash.

City were beaten 2-0 by PSG in the first meeting between the two sides in September, a game which saw Lionel Messi score his first goal for the club in stunning fashion.

Of course, Pochettino is no stranger to the English game, so Gundogan expects another tough night.

"I think the biggest challenge, for both teams to be honest, is that both managers know each other quite well," Gundogan said.

"Unfortunately, he was able to beat us in the past quite regularly and also in important games. That's not really an advantage for us."

A win against PSG will see City advance to the next stage of the Champions League with a handy game to spare.

Gundogan says the team are just concentrating on preparing for the final two group matches the right way.

"For us, it's more about the approach of the game, the way we want to play, the way we control possession and create chances," Gundogan said.

"I've no doubt if we do that in the best possible way, with patience, I've no doubt we'll play a really good game and get the three points."
