Eidur Gudjohnsen was delighted with his Fulham debut in the draw with Chelsea last night.
Gudjohnsen, on loan from Stoke City, immediately found himself in the thick of the action, playing a part in a number of dangerous counter-attacks that could have seen the Whites take three points.
"It was a great atmosphere, and a local derby is the perfect way to get your first few minutes at your home ground," he told fulhamfc.com. "It was just a shame we couldn't nick it in the end.
"I thought the whole team worked really hard, we defended well, and all in all it was a great experience.
"We maybe invited them a little too deep into our half at times, but that's due to tired legs towards the end of the game as a result of our hard work. But I thought in the last 10 minutes we could have nicked it on the break. It was a shame the penalty couldn't have gone in, but we're pleased with a point, although it would have been nice to have taken all three."
