Manchester City are believed to be at the top of the tree to sign Abel Ruiz from Barcelona.

The 16-year-old striker has attracted plenty of attention from around Europe with Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea both heavily linked.

The Sun is of the belief that Ruiz is keen on working with incoming City boss Pep Guardiola which has given the Manchester club a fantastic chance of luring him from La Masia.

The Gunners unsuccessfully went after the teenager in January while Chelsea have held talks with his family and representatives but it is felt that City hold the key with the arrival of Guardiola and the ability to pay higher wages than Barca.
