Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola took his time attending the post match press conference, probably getting his breath back after his team recovered from a 3-2 deficit to defeat Monaco 5-3 in the first leg of the Champions League knock-out phase.
Sergio Aguero was booked for diving when it looked a stonewall penalty after being brought down by the visitor's keeper, but Guardiola refused to comment, saying deadpan: "Next question. I want to go to Monaco."
He was more forthcoming on an entertaining game in which attackers dominated and defences struggled, but the former Barcelona manager finds such games enjoyable and how football should be played.
"I'm so happy for the result and these sort of results will help this club achieve the results needed as Monaco have a bigger Champions League history than us and for us to recover and fight back as we did can only help the team.
"We attack the small spaces and defend the large ones; I love to play in this way. I think it is something good for football when two teams want to play this way and attack and attack it is good for football.
"Today the lesson was we never gave up and sometimes we were lucky, particularly in the second half, but then very unlucky in the first half."
