Griffiths hopes Hibs form leads to Wolves chance

Leigh Griffiths hopes his loan move to Hibs catches the eye of Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.

Griffiths has joined struggling Hibernian on loan until January, having so far failed to make the breakthrough with Wolves since his £150,000 move from Dundee at the start of this year.

He said: "It is frustrating when you can't get into the first-team picture at any club, but you've got to look at the boys in front of you.

"At Wolves, we've got Kevin Doyle, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Steven Fletcher and even Stephen Ward who have all got Premier League experience and have scored goals at that level.

"I'm down the pecking order a bit, but I'm sure if I can come up here and score a few goals then I can give Mick McCarthy food for thought when I go back."
