Gremio vice-president Duda Kroeff says Barcelona midfielder Arthur would be a great signing by Juventus.

Juve are being linked with the former Gremio star.

Kroeff told TMW: "It would be a great, huge purchase for Juventus.

"We are talking about a player who is still young and therefore with so much unexpressed potential, but who already has a Campeonato Gaúcho, a Copa do Brasil, a Copa Libertadores, a Supercopa de España, a Liga and a Copa América with the Brazilian national team.

"Does he seem little to you? He grew up right here at Grêmio, first as a shining talent from our youth sector and then as an absolute protagonist with our first team. He left all of us with wonderful memories."

There's reports of Arthur moving to Juve in exchange for Miralem Pjanic.

Kroeff added: "I really wonder, here in Brazil we were all very surprised to read this news coming from Italy and Spain. Pjanic is 30 years old, Arthur 23 ... And then there are two midfielders who look very alike on the field. Only that Arthur has six seasons less on the shoulders than Pjanic..."
