Gremio president Bolzan declares Napoli permission for Everton talks

Gremio president Romildo Bolzan Jr has declared Napoli have permission to speak with Everton Soares.

But he warns Napoli must get serious about a fee for the striker.

Bolzan told Radio Galera: “We could negotiate his sale, but so far we haven't seen any proposal put on the table, so there is nothing to evaluate. There was some contact with Napoli initially and we gave them permission to negotiate directly with the player over personal terms, but they have not yet reached an achievement.

“When that has been finalised, then Napoli will have to make a proposal to Gremio. I can say that €25m is not going to be satisfactory, even with the financial crisis caused by the pandemic.

“So far, we have not received any offer from them, whether it's €20m, €30m or €40m."
