MLS club Houston Dynamo and Greenstar Recycling have entered a multi-year, multi-million dollar sponsorship agreement.

Greenstar and the Dynamo have reached a five-year, $12.7 million jersey sponsorship deal which will officially be announced at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

A report in the Houston Chronicle read: 'With the deal, Greenstar will become the second jersey sponsor in the Dynamo franchise's five-year history and the first founding partner for the new stadium the Dynamo are expected to break ground on next month and open on the East End by April 2012.

'The deal includes an opt-out option for Greenstar after the third year. The Dynamo's four-year jersey sponsorship deal with Amigo Energy, which paid the club less than $2 million per season, ran from 2007 to 2010.'
