Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones has been given a great opportunity by Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek.
The 27-year old will fight for the second-choice keeping spot with Sivasspor's Michael Petkovic in Australia's World Cup qualifiers next month and Verbeek believes it may be his time to shine.
"He's played so many games in the Premiership. It's a good opportunity for him," Verbeek said.
"I'm very pleased with the choices I can make on goalkeeping positions. It's time for Brad now, it's time for him."
