Former Italy star Ciccio Graziani says Atalanta deserve their place in the Coppa Italia final.

La Dea will meet Juventus in the final after thrashing Fiorentina 4-1 yesterday.

Graziani told Mediaset: "Atalanta reached the final well, tonight they played a great match despite having made an incredible naivety on Martinez Quarta's goal.

"However, Koopmeiners' goal allowed them to immediately find serenity and calm, then with the sending off everything was simpler, because it penalised Fiorentina a lot and allowed Gasperini's team to get up.

"Milenkovic (who was sent off) is positioned badly, that intervention is too risky because if you don't get the ball you risk doing damage... The expulsion could have been avoided by making a better defensive phase.

"And then there is that lateral foul at the end, which gave rise to the goal that decided the match."
