Granada have re-signed Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo on loan.

The Andalusian club made it clear at the end of the season that they wanted the player back for next term, but Real Madrid's transfer demands proved too much.

However, with a lack of potential suitors, Vallejo spoke the capital city club's hierarchy and expressed his desire to re-join Diego Martinez's side.

This was a deciding factor in the move and Real Madrid finally agreed to loan the player back to Granada, with it yet to be seen whether the deal includes an option to buy.

The player has already posted on social media that he is on his way to Granada after passing a medical which allows him to join up with the squad for pre-season.
