Newcastle United winger Yoann Gouffran insists they'll stay up.

Toon face Everton tonight.

Gouffran told the Evening Chronicle: "We have to show that last season was just a one-off.

"We will be aiming to finish as high up the Premier League as we want to.

"We have great players. We did last season too. There are a lot of internationals on the books here.

"It's about doing as well as we can, as well as we should do with the great players we have here."
