Gotze urges Real Madrid's Sahin to make Borussia Dortmund return

Mario Gotze has urged Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin to make a return to Borussia Dortmund.

While he has started to find his feet at Real, Sahin still faces a major battle to earn a regular midfield place ahead of Mesut Ozil and Kaka.

Gotze, who has been tracked by Real this season, declared: "I am sure that Nuri will do well and succeed at Real Madrid, but if he were to move, I can only hope he'll come back here.

"And as a friend and a very strong player, he would be welcomed back with open arms."
