Finally, some positive injury news for Arsenal with striker Robin van Persie set to return to full training in the next week or so.

The Gunners have been cursed with serious injuries to key players this season, none more so that the season-ending broken leg to captain Cesc Fabregas just prior to the important lead-in to the title race.

But Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had some good news for Gunners fans, saying that van Persie was progressing nicely from an ankle injury.

The latest news on Robin van Persie is very promising, but we have to wait two more weeks to integrate him fully into first-team training," said the Frenchman.

"Let's hope we can give him some big games to aim for at the end of the season."
