Gomes: Tottenham won't miss Man Utd's Berbatov

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes insists they won't miss Dimitar Berbatov this season. Spurs begin life after the Bulgarian striker with a run of three home games in six days starting against Aston Villa tonight.

And although Brazilian keeper Gomes was impressed by Berba he believes they can cope without him.

The £7.8million former PSV Eindhoven ace, 27, said: "Berbatov is a great player but he had an opportunity that was not only good for him, but for the club and now he's left so we move on.

"Our team remains strong, even without him, and with the same will to fight for the top four places."
