Gold Coast United young gun Steve Lustica will travel to Europe this week to undertake a few trials in various countries.
The United youth team captain and player of the year in the National Youth League this season is off to clubs in Germany, Belgium and Croatia for training in a bid to further his development and goes with the blessing of senior coach Miron Bleiberg.
"Steve Lustica is a very ambitious kid and I thought it would be the best for him to try his luck in Europe and see how life goes over there," Bleiberg told the Gold Coast Bulletin. "If he succeeds good, if not the door is always open to him."
The 19-year old midfielder made two A-League appearances this season to take his running tally to four with United after beginning his career with Sydney FC.
