Goalkeeper coach Billy Mercer has joined Everton on a short-term deal.

Mercer steps in with senior keeper coach Alan Kelly to undergo a knee operation.

He also worked with Everton manager Sean Dyche at Burnley.

Mercer will be present at the Blues' pre-season camp in Lake Geneva to work with Jordan Pickford, Joao Virginia, Andy Lonergan and Billy Crellin.
