Glazers urged to break silence and publicly back Man Utd boss Moyes

The Glazer family are being urged to deliver Manchester United boss David Moyes a public vote of confidence.

Since last week's Champions League humiliation at Olympiakos, sack rumours have intensified around Moyes, with the likes of Louis van Gaal and Frank de Boer being linked with his job.

The influential Manchester Evening News says the Glazers have not uttered a word in public since a one-off interview for United's in-house channel MUTV by Joel Glazer in 2005. Despite numerous and continuous requests to speak to United's fans, the Florida-based family have remained tight-lipped.

But if they are 100 per cent behind Moyes then surely the time has come to break their silence and tell the world. Their self-imposed gag will only make matters worse for club and manager.
