Olivier Giroud was delighted with the way Arsenal performed in their 2-0 win over Napoli on Tuesday night.
The Frenchman netted his sixth goal of the season when firing home from close range in the 15th minute after being set up by a clever pass from Mesut Ozil who had opened the scoring seven minutes earlier.
Giroud was impressed with the output of the Gunners players and also commented on the ease of playing alongside Ozil who joined for £43million from Real Madrid on deadline day.
"Yeah, we decided to start strong. That's what we did, we scored early in the game, so after we could play our game like (we do) usually," he told Sky Sports.
"We kept the ball and played like we did normally and we did well tonight."
On Ozil, he added: "Mesut is a very good player. He plays really simple so it is really easy to play with him and I have a good relationship on the pitch, a good understanding. It's really easy to play with him."
