Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is a World Cup winner - but with an unwanted stat.
The Daily Mail says Giroud is a World Cup winner after France's 4-2 win over Croatia in Moscow on Sunday - but it did not all go his way this month.
The Frenchman went the entire tournament without hitting a single shot on target as his partners in the France triumvirate, Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann, each netted four goals.
Giroud played 546 minutes in Russia - starting with a 20-minute cameo in the opening win over Australia.
But Giroud is likely to be unfazed by his personal form having gone on to lift the trophy.
No shots on target. No goals. But a World Cup winner.
