Girona coach Michel remains confident of their Champions League chances.

While their title hopes have fallen away since the New Year, a top four finish remains on track.

Michel said: "We have to continue in the same way. We are above Barça and Atlético, two teams that are in the Champions League quarterfinals after defeating Napoli and Inter, which had not yet lost in 2024.

"Madrid has ahead of us with an attack, with Vinicius, Bellingham, Joselu... We are comparing ourselves with the best teams in the world.

"If anyone doubts this team I wouldn't know what to say to them."
