Girona sports chief Quique Carcel admits there's a risk of losing coach Michel.
Michel is being linked with Manchester City as a potential future successor for Pep Guardiola.
Carcel told AS: “We talk about being first and this doesn't make much sense... This doesn't go unnoticed. He has a very normal disposition and is recognized in Spain and is beginning to be recognized in Europe.
"It's hard not to be afraid of that happening. I also have the feeling that he is a different person, with values, calm. He knows that the club has given a lot to him, he is grateful, shares the success and knows that he has to take steps to improve even more. I've been telling him this for a long time and we've talked, but it's not necessary because he feels it.
"This is the most important. He has a special talent and will end up doing very great things. The first will be to make Girona great and turn it into a model club. There is no better ambition in life than transforming something small into something big. It is the point he is at."
